Yash Merchant - Turkey 2000
I really enjoyed my trip to Turkey where I met children from all over the world and learnt about their different cultures and lives. I saw some beautiful places and had a very good time. Our performance was appreciated by the various audiences. I made some very good friends like my host family who took very good care of me.

Pantki Mehta - Turkey 2000
It was great fun when the children and we all host families went for a picnic together. We also exchanged gifts with the host families. I got many gifts from them. We had a little language problem with the host families, but still it was fun.

  Arish Elavia - Korea 2000
I was jumping with joy. Imagine - to be selected to represent my country at the International Youth Festival in Korea!

  Priya Shah - Greece 2000
We made new friends. It helped us to develop an all round good personality, a great opportunity to exchange our views and culture with them, to know our own responsibilities etc.

Irfan Lakhani - Canada 2000
Video Camera! Interviews! Photographs! were always following us, we were in the news all the time: on TV and Newspapers, infact I was shocked to see full length photograph & myself on the front page of a local newspaper.

  Mona Acharya - Belgium 2000
Our host parents took us to their home at Belgium. They treated us very nicely and took care as if they were our real parents.

  Ruchie Kothari - Belgium 2000
We had received a word that we would be staying in host families. I hoped that we would have a brother or a sister and my every wish came true. I loved my family. Luckily our father knew a little of English and as I have done a little of French, we could communicate pretty well. Our father even had a small pocket computer that would help translate words from French to English and vice versa. It was so funny suddenly in the middle of a sentence he would stop and pull out the computer to find some word he didn't know in English.

  Shikha Agarwal - Belgium 2000
There were six countries in all participating: Ukraine, Argentina, Spain, Belgium & India. Ukrainian & Argentine girls were keen to wear our costumes. The day we were leaving, our host parents I cried a lot as they had given me love and also helped a lot. My host parents did now know English but expressed their affection anyhow.

  Vidhi Kejriwal - Belgium 2000
If I had the power I would rewind the times I shared with the company who I partially lived, danced, rejoiced, and enjoyed with. They were in form of companion's roommates, teachers & friends.

  Nibha Wazir - Holland / France 2002
To say we danced would be an understatement, we were mini celebrities in our own right what with signing autographs, clicking pictures and dancing in parades while the whole town watched on.

  Akshay Mehta - Holland / France 2002
The entire trip has been a treasure of lifetime memories. It was an educational cum leisure trip. It was the first time that I represented India on an International level. It was great fun to travel with so many talented friends.
